Degree Requirements
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts

This is a four-year program of study leading to a B.F.A. degree in Theatre Arts. Candidates choose a concentration in either Acting, Musical Theatre or Theatre Design and Technology. It is designed to prepare students for a career in professional theatre or entry into a graduate program of study. Within the context of an extensive liberal arts core, instruction emphasizes performance skills and technical knowledge. Admission to the program is granted by either audition/interview or portfolio review/interview; requirements are described under the "Scholarships" link.

Within the context of an extensive liberal arts core, it is designed to give students a solid foundation in theatre knowledge and skills.
